Description
The City requires civil engineering services (Services) for its Project. The Project involves replacing approximately 2,600 linear feet of existing sanitary sewer main of varying sizes along Brentwood Boulevard between Oak Street and Havenwood Avenue. The material of the sewer main is primarily clay, which was installed an estimated 68 years ago with no records of previous rehabilitation being performed. With an expected life span of 50-60 years for clay, the sewer main is due for rehabilitation and/or replacement. In addition, there are approximately 22 sanitary sewer manholes in need of rehabilitation as they are primarily brick. There is also a need to construct/install approximately six (6) new manholes to allow for better cleaning, maintenance, and operation
