Services: Materials Testing Services, Imperial County, CA

The Imperial County Transportation Commission is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced material testing firms to provide Acceptance Testing and Independent Assurance testing services for the above referenced federally funded project in the city of Calexico, Imperial County, California. Two firms will be selected from this request for proposal; the topranked firm for Acceptance Testing and the second-ranked firm for Independent Assurance (based on ranking and responsiveness). Interested firms must submit separate cost proposals for each service. The purpose of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is to provide Imperial County Transportation Commission the assurance that this project is constructed in substantial compliance with the plans and specifications and that all local, state and federal provisions (where applicable) which may be required due to the specific funding requirements are adhered to. An important objective is to maintain a level of high-quality Material Testing Services through appropriate documentation and workflow methodology in the most cost-effective manner possible. DBE goal is 2 percent. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. Questions due 7/14/21.
