*New Bid Date* Subcontractor Opportunities - Desert Garden Elementary School - Exterior Painting Project, El Centro, CA

Paint Colors will be selected by Superintendent, prior to start of project and must be Sherwin Williams Brand. 1 All exterior building walls. All exterior storage containers on campus excluding blue refrigeration unit near Cafeteria MPR. All electrical service panels on campus and electrical transformers (on pad) located on campus. All handrails on campus including ramps. All support columns/posts *canopy, overhead/overhang etc. on campus - Not playground structures. Flag pole and bike racks located on campus. Wooden Ramada. Picnic benches - Old style benches only without the diamond grades. All linear stripes on walkway throughout campus including four square and hopscotch. All emergency fire hose/extinguisher cases. All conduit lines and covers. All coat/backpack hooks outside rooms. All window frames - windows must be cleaned after painting is completed. All doors (6 sides) and door frame up to door jamb outside face. Glass mosaics need to be preserved. School marquee pole. Building numbers (blue squares) need repainted same colors. All portable ramps. Murals on front of school need repainted the same colors. Basketball poles and court lines. Soccer goals on playing field field - painted white. Do not include metal lunch shelter. Notes: Contractor shall power wash Patch all damaged stucco prior to painting exterior building The contractor shall be responsible for preparing all surfaces, per coating manufacturers guidelines, prior to repainting Large cracks (greater than 1/4"in in width) must be V-grooved out and all other surfaces defects corrected, such as holes. Gouges must be repaired using the appropriate patching materials to match the texture and surrounding surface profile. Dust surface, spot prime and roll all patch areas with appropriate primer and finish coat. All other miscellaneous painted surfaces not specifically noted. Work to be completed in 53 calendar days: June 12 – August 4; project completion on or before August 4, 2023.
