Street Improvements on Ohio Drive, Bakersfield, CA

The work to be performed consists, in general, of furnishing and installing pedestrian and street improvements on Ohio Drive south of State Route 58. The work includes, but is not limited to, concrete construction of new sidewalk, curb and gutter, residential drive approaches, and a new roadway section along the current unpaved portion of Ohio Drive. Other items include earthwork excavation of existing ground, construction of new pavement using Class II aggregate base and Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), relocation and modification of fencing and gates to provide ADA required clearances, installing new dry well, and modification of existing landscape and irrigation as necessary to accommodate the specified work, all in conformance with the contract documents. During the bidding of this project, contractors who have questions or desire clarifications about the bid documents, must submit those questions or requests for clarifications in writing using the form provided in the bid documents. Questions are due no later than 10:00 am seven calendar days prior to the scheduled bid opening. Project duration is 20 working days. DBE &/or GFE required if the prime contractor or bidder must issue subcontract or procure outside services to successfully bid and complete this public works project.
