Saunders Park Sump Wall: Construction of a new masonry block wall with steel gates is required. The wall will be replacing an existing chain link fence along the south boundary of an existing Drainage Sump. The existing fence is to be demolished and removed in its entirety. Security of the Drainage Sump is to be maintained throughout the project. This may be done with progressively tying into the existing fencing in place or with temporary fence or the combination thereof. Minor grading, excavation and compaction are required for the wall foundation. Placement of steel reinforcement and structural concrete is to be constructed for the stepped wall and fence footings. Masonry is to be placed on level courses with high strength mortar and grouted with high strength grout in all masonry cells. The wall is to receive a rounded mortar cap with steel trowel finish purposed to deter climbing. The contractor is to furnish and install steel fabricated gates with posts. Cleanup and finishing of the final project are required. Saunders Park Pavilion Fence: Construction of a new steel fence with steel gates is required. The new fence will be replacing existing fencing around the Pavilion and alongside the existing parking lot. The existing fence is to be demolished and removed in its entirety. The contractor may exercise the option of leaving the existing fence in place and construct alongside with the new. The security of the Pavilion is to be maintained throughout the entire project. This may be done with leaving the existing fencing in place or with temporary fence or the combination thereof. Minor grading, excavation and compaction are required for the fence post foundations and curbing. Placement of steel reinforcement and structural concrete is to be constructed for the fence post footings. The contractor is to furnish and install steel fabricated gates with posts. Cleanup and finishing of the final project are required.
