Description
The City of Bakersfield is requesting bids from experienced and reputable contractors for providing a Contract for Construction of HUD-funded Curb, Gutter & Sidewalk/Oleander Area. Award, if any, resulting from this Invitation to Bid shall be for a one (1) year period. The work consists of the construction of concrete curb and gutter. Work shall be assigned by the Streets Division and shall be in both commercial and residential areas of the City. The work shall be performed under the direction of, and to the satisfaction of the City of Bakersfield Public Works Department Streets Division. Contractor shall perform work in such a manner to avoid disruption of the normal vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The contract is expected to begin on or after October 25, 2023. The term of the contract shall be one (1) year from execution date. Deadline for questions is September 29, 2023 by 12:00pm.
