Description
New emergency homeless pallet shelter project and Parking Lot Improvements on an existing park & ride Caltrans lot - adjacent to the 105 freeway, Avalon Boulevard and 116th place. The project will provide sleeping cabins and beds for up to 41 individuals. Site amenities include restrooms, showers, and lavatories; laundry station; designated seating areas with mobile umbrellas for dining services; and pallets for administrative offices and case managers. A guard booth will be provided and site to have perimeter fencing with privacy slats. Parking Lot Improvements to include one additional accessible van stall with required striping and signage and a new driveway curb cut.
