Description

The Work required by this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: Demolition and removal of existing rail tracks, crossovers, pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk, utilities, foundations, signs, and fencing; Modification and removal of the existing 9th Street grade crossing, including traffic signal and cabinet, railroad signalization and appurtenance; construction of new retaining wall adjacent to SR-710 freeway, including king-pile and ground anchors; earthwork and grading of the site, including soil handling, testing and disposal; installation of miscellaneous supporting utilities such as storm drain, track underdrains; construction of asphalt paving, aggregate base and pavement patching; construction of signage, fencing and gates; traffic control when applicable for construction phasing and wall construction; removal and reinstallation of freeway sign structures, including construction of new Cast-in-Drilled-Hole(CIDH) pile foundations; and removal and reinstallation of CCTV camera pole and appurtenances. See Section 01 11 00, Summary of Work in the Technical Specifications. DBE goal is 21%.
