Description

The project generally consists of removing and replacing all interior linings, and spot paint repair to the exterior. The work includes, but is not limited to the complete removal of all interior linings, the surface preparation and application of protective coating to all specified surfaces of the tank structure, including all attachments, appurtenances, and accessories; the repair of the exterior paint system by spot repair and overcoating using epoxy and acrylic/urethane protective coatings, including sealing the gap with caulking between the exterior, leading edge of the floor plate and the concrete ring wall; replacement of up to six (6) interior ladder rungs, and a limited amount of weld repairs of corroded surfaces; a limited amount of grinding; a limited amount of weld repairs to deteriorated roof area welds; the removal and disposal of the corroded interior ladder Saf-T-Climb device; and all associated work as indicated in the Contract Documents.

Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
