Description
The major work consists of reconstructing and signalizing the intersection of Pioneer Road and Ortigalita Road. Right and left turn pockets will be added for all intersection approaches and a Class 1 trail will be installed along the north side of Pioneer Road. ADA improvements including curb ramps and crosswalks will be installed with the project. Storm drain and water facilities will be installed within the intersection consistent with the City of Los Banos' Utility Master Plans. The purpose of the project is to improve operation and pedestrian network of the intersection. The project is needed to reduce congestion and improve air quality.
