The Work shall consist of, but not be limited to, removal and replacement of existing concrete curbs, sidewalk, gutters, sewer manholes and asphalt concrete pavement; construction of accessible pedestrian ramps; pavement striping and signage; adjustment of valve boxes and manholes; water pollution control; and all related work.

The Costa Mesa Sanitary District is soliciting proposals from qualified civil engineering firms, or team of firms to provide general civil, landscaping, lighting, electrical, and ADA improvement design services for the development of plans and specifications for the parking lot area of District Headquarters, located at 290 Paularino Avenue.

The work of this Contract shall consist of lead-based paint remediation, per report, and to professional and regulatory standards. This Contract shall consist of asbestos abatement, per report, and to professional and regulatory standards. In part of remediation and abatement, demolition of rotten wood, removal of windows (protect ornamental window glass), window frames, and window moldings. This work will be for both the Newland House Museum and Newland House Water Tower. This Contract shall consist of replacing all removed wood planks to match, windows (protect ornamental window glass and reinstall), window frames, and window moldings removed with historically accurate elements (subject to City approval and project specifications). Replacement windows shall be double panes. The cellar doors shall be completely removed and replaced with hardware being reused or if necessary and approved, replaced with historically accurate elements (subject to City approval and project specifications). The shrubbery surrounding the water tower shall be completely removed before removing and repairing wood siding. All surfaces shall be cleaned, and all surfaces shall be primed and painted with ultra-premium paint included in Sherwin-Williams specifications (Appendix I).

Trenchless lining system for 18-inch water main pipeline

The Project consists of abatement, demolition and removal of the existing 2-story Administration Building, 2-story Business Building, Load Center & Restroom Building, Building 26, Modular Buildings and the adjacent site hardscape and furnishings. The work will include multiple utility re-routing, new concrete pathways, site lighting, furniture, new trees and lawn, and upgrades to accessible parking stalls.

The project consists of the renovation of a portion of the second floor totaling approximately 4,509 SF of the (E) Student Services Building and converting this space to administrative offices plus conference room. The work will include selective demolition of interior walls, removal of (E) floor finishes, and ceiling finishes. The space will also include upgrades to mechanical, electrical, technology, fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems. Exterior scope includes upgrades to the existing parking lot.

The project includes asphalt concrete (AC), crack seal & slurry seal, cold mill & overlay, and localized pavement repairs. Removing and replacing Portland cement concrete (PCC) sidewalks, curbs, curb & gutter, cross gutters, driveways, and curb ramps. Signing & striping is also included.

The Bus Shelter Replacement Project involves the installation of new shelters at 33 existing bus stop locations throughout the City of Laguna Niguel. The new shelter design reflects the Citys updated branding. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, remove and replace concrete sidewalk panels, protection of utilities, sign relocations, manufacturing and providing designated bus shelters including the amenities of bench, trash receptacle, lighting, and custom-branded elements that reinforce the Citys identity all in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents. Of the 33 stops, six are designated as bid alternates (Alternative 1) and may be awarded based solely on a determination by City.

The City of Orange is inviting bids for the labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the Annual Concrete Replacement at Various Locations FY 2025-2026.

The purpose of this report is to evaluate the geological and seismological hazards of the project site area for the modernization and seismic retrofit of two existing classroom buildings, and provide relevant geotechnical design parameters and recommendations to aid in the design and construction of the proposed building project. The primary objective of the project is the modernization of the Kindergarten and TK facilities, requiring a Geotechnical Investigation Report that is approved by CGS per the requirements of DSA to seismically retrofit a building. The improvements include interior modifications to classrooms, offices, restrooms, and support spaces, as well as upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The two structures are existing one-story classroom buildings, and no vertical expansion is anticipated. The proposed renovation is limited to these two one-story buildings and will include the addition of new shallow footings intended to support and supplement the existing foundations. The interaction between the new and existing foundation systems should be evaluated as part of the geotechnical investigation and recommendations.

This Notice to Contractors is for the award of a minimum of three (3) Job Order Contracts (JOC), which is a competitively bid, firm fixed priced, indefinite quantity contract. The Trustees reserve the right to award additional contracts as needed. The Contract scope of work includes a collection of detailed repair and construction tasks and specifications that have established unit prices. It is awarded to the Contractor for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition and construction of infrastructure, buildings, structures, or other real property. The University issues to the Contractor discrete, fixed-price task or job orders, as needed, under the contract. Under the JOC concept, the Contractor furnishes all management, documentation, labor, materials, and equipment needed to perform the work.

The City of Laguna Niguel is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants with demonstrated expertise in complex bridge widening projects to provide construction management and construction inspection services for the Crown Valley Parkway Westbound Widening from I-5 to Cabot Road. The selected firm will provide all professional expertise, personnel, and resources necessary to deliver comprehensive CM/CI services, including a robust public outreach program. Services shall emphasize a proactive approach to identifying and resolving unforeseen site conditions, plan discrepancies, and potential design conflicts in advance of construction, thereby minimizing delays, cost impacts, field changes, and disruptions to the surrounding community, while ensuring the successful delivery of this critical infrastructure improvement.

More specific work items include, but are not limited to, clearing and grubbing/demolition and site preparation; connection to water and sewer utilities; grading; installation of an ADA compliant prefabricated restroom building and concrete building foundation; construction of concrete walkway and picnic table pad, site furnishings; installation of a new electrical meter pedestal (or electrical design to connect to existing power sources) and bollard lighting; landscaping and irrigation restoration; implementation of Best Management Practices (BMP) for storm water pollution prevention during all construction activities; and other general improvements as outlined in the Contract Plans and Specifications for the above-stated project.

Sawcut and remove portions of existing sidewalk, curb and gutter, and asphalt roadway as required for excavation, trenching, shoring, and dewatering. Construct catch basin, install reinforced concrete pipe, concrete collars, and junction structure. Furnish and install Aqua-Swirl trash capture device and install owner-furnished ARS-CL screen. Remove and dispose of conflicting existing reinforced concrete pipe. Backfill, restore all disturbed surfaces, and complete all incidental work necessary for project completion.

The project will retrofit, for adaptive reuse, Building 369, a former storage and maintenance facility at the Great Park in Irvine, with a change of use from storage to assembly, with scope which shall include, but not be limited to: Demolition work, including the partial removal of existing tilt-up concrete panels, removal of all exterior glazing and roof openings, and of the existing interior mezzanines. Additional demolition work includes the removal of all existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, fire sprinklers, and fire alarm. New work includes seismic retrofitting, new exterior glazing, skylights, roofing, interior partitions, doors, restrooms, and mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, and fire sprinkler systems along with other items not mentioned here but required by the Plans and Special Provisions. The Project includes deferred submittals for stud framing, fire alarm, and fire sprinklers. The Engineers construction cost estimate for the full project scope is above $19.08 million. There are 11 deductive Bid Alternates. However, be advised that the Basis of selection of the Low Bid is based on the complete scope lump sum price.

Notice is hereby given that the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from contractors for bathroom remodel at OCFA Fire Station 45 - Rancho Santa Margarita.

The Base Project consists of abandoning the existing Myra Pump Station No. 1 and constructing a new pump station along with a tributary storm drain system within Myra Avenue. The work may include: Construction of reinforced concrete well structure, Installation of vertical turbine and submersible stormwater pumps, Installation of discharge piping and valve systems, Installation of a medium-voltage electrical service (480V12kV) and switch gear, Installation of Motor Control Centers (MCCs), Installation of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Installation of a standby diesel generator and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), Installation of a PLC-based control system, Integration into the Citys SCADA system, Installation of instrumentation including level, flow, and pressure sensors, and Performance of site civil improvements including grading, paving, fencing, and storm drain systems.

The work necessary for the completion of this contract consists of removing and disposing of the existing shade structure systems as noted on the drawings; providing structural design, calculation, detailing, drawings, permitting, supply, fabrication, delivery, and construction and installation of new shade structure systems; and other incidental items to complete the work in place required by the Contract Documents at the following locations: Arroyo Park (1411 Bayswater Drive), Bolsa Park (Bolsa Avenue and Old Newport Boulevard), Bonita Canyon Sports Park East (1990 Ford Road), Buffalo Hills I Park (1891 Port Provence Place), Buffalo Hills II Park (1910 Port Carney Place), and Channel Place Park (4400 Channel Place). The intent of this specification is to have only one shade contractor be responsible for all the above functions.

The Fulton Playfield Multi-Benefit Infiltration Project will add infiltration elements to the existing LA County Flood Control District's flood control basin. The project will involve modifying the existing weir chamber and flood control basin, construction of a hydrodynamic separator, drywells and connecting storm drain infrastructure, and installation of an inlet check valve. Bioretention features to capture additional runoff and parkway landscaping will also be constructed along Rindge and Earle Ln.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to establish a contract for access control systems maintenance and repair services on an as needed basis. The successful contractor will provide electrical maintenance and repair services including all personnel, labor, supervision, materials, tools and equipment required to maintain and repair electrical systems of OCFAs seventy-eight (78) fire stations, a 33,870 SQFT warehouse, 7 bay air operations hangar and the RFOTC.
