Description

SHARP Development, LP (SHARP) on behalf of the owner, is seeking a General Contractor (GC) to provide Construction services for Central City II properties listed in this RFP. Applicants with relevant experience and the qualifications required to implement the scope of work as described in this RFP are encouraged to respond. The selected Contractor will work with the owner’s Project Team and the expectation is that a Construction Contract will be negotiated with the selected Contractor. Location: Pine Knoll Apartments (30 Dwelling Units): 917 38th Street, Sacramento, CA 95816 , Big Tree Apartments (29 Dwelling Units): 2516 H Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. Construction costs for this project are anticipated to be in the $3 million to $4 million range, which will include physical improvements to the buildings and various site improvements. This budget shall include all general conditions, overhead and profit, insurance, contingency, etc. This project will utilize 4% Tax Credits, and will be subject to regulations governing that funding source. Possible sub-contracting trades are as follows: Asbestos Abatement; C-22, Electrical Contractor; C-10, Elevator Contractor; C-11, Fire Protection Contractor; C-16, Flooring & Floor Covering; C-15, Glazing Contractor; C-17, Hydroseed Spraying; C-61/D-59, Landscaping Contractor; C-27, Low Voltage Systems; C-7, Warm-Air Heating, Ventilation & AC; C-20, Suspended Ceilings; C-61/D-50, Roofing Contractor; C-39. Questions are due by 5:00 PM on Mar 6th.

Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
