Description
The scope of work includes replacement of the (4) existing dual-deck custom air handling units and (1) air conditioning unit located on the roof of the building along with related electrical service equipment and the replacement and integration of the existing building management system including coordination and replacement of new VAV controllers throughout the building. There are no interior space alteration, change in use, or occupancy proposed. Construction work shall be performed in stages as approved by the City during the construction period to minimize operational impact to the building occupants. Fire alarm devices normally installed in the roof top mechanical units will be addressed by the owner under a modernization of the fire alarm system by Sierra Building Systems. *City Facilities Staff will provide tanks for the recovery of all R22 refrigerant and the city will Retain the refrigerant.
