Description
Scope of Services: The State of California (State), Department of Veterans Affairs, Capital Assets/Facilities and Construction Unit Division, manage, maintain, and operate Veterans Homes and Cemeteries statewide. CalVet is procuring the most qualified professional firm(s) for architectural and engineering services on a retainer contract to be used on an as-needed basis for various projects identified ranging from $5,000 - $1,000,000 to help maintain CalVets Veterans Homes and Cemeteries buildings and grounds. The basic services to be provided may include providing and/or preparing: Reviews for Department of State Architect compliance (access compliance ADA), Reviews for Health Care Access and Information compliance (HCAI - formerly OSHPD), Feasibility studies, constructability reviews, Budget packages, Design documents (Conceptual schemes, preliminary plans and specifications), Bidding support, Construction administration, construction management, project support, Field investigations, observation of work, and project meetings, and Studies, reports, shop drawing review, as-built drawings, and cost estimates, Services such as civil, mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical engineering associated with the basic services may be provided as needed.
