Description: The California High-Speed Rail Authority is responsible for planning, designing, building, and operating the first high-speed rail system in the nation. California high-speed rail will connect the mega-regions of the state, contribute to economic development and a cleaner environment, create jobs, and preserve agricultural and protected lands. A&E services shall be necessary for the design of various construction projects. Services may include planning, environmental, engineering and/or architectural services, utility and geotechnical engineering site-investigations and associated permitting and Authority-approvals, professional design support during construction, land surveying, construction administration/project construction management (PCM) services, and a wide range of other professional services to support the Authority capital program.
