Description
The Well 8A Equipping Project includes the equipping of a new well to replace the District’s existing Well 8 well. The Work includes the construction of a new 21-ft by 15-ft wood-framed building, equipping the recently drilled Well 8A with a vertical turbine pump and appurtenances, new discharge and pump-to-waste piping, and site piping with provisions for future connections. The Work will include reusing the electrical equipment (i.e. variable frequency drive (VFD), motor control center (MCC) and valve actuator) and radio antenna from the existing Well 8. This project is funded with Federal Funds and DBE compliance required.
Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
