The City of Victorville is seeking qualified contractors to install a new main gas line at the Animal Care and Adoption Center. The project includes trenching, saw cutting, concrete cutting, installation of gas piping, testing, and backfilling. Final surface restoration, including concrete and sod replacement, will be performed by City staff. The City of Ontarios Municipal Utilities Company (OMUC) is seeking proposals for installing approximately 200 linear feet of new 12-inch diameter vitrified clay pipe (VCP) sewer main along Vineyard Avenue near Riverside Drive, approximately 2,100 linear feet of new 21-inch diameter VCP sewer main along Riverside Drive between Vineyard Avenue and Whispering Lakes Lane, and approximately 50 linear feet of new 12-inch diameter and approximately 40 linear feet of new 4-inch and 6-inch diameter VCP sewer main at the intersection of Chino Avenue and South Champions Avenue. In addition, an existing manhole will be modified to divert sewer flow at Riverside Dr and Whispering Lakes Ln, a new slide gate structure with slide gates will be installed at Chino Avenue and S. Champions Way, an existing IEUA sewer flow diversion box will be modified, and ultrasonic meters will be installed as part of the project. The Contractor will furnish all transportation, materials, tools, time, equipment, labor, and supplies to complete the improvements, together with the appurtenant work necessary or incidental to complete, in a workmanlike manner, the improvements as contemplated and as intended by the Plans and these Technical Specifications.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to remove roughly 2,500 linear feet of existing perimeter wrought iron fencing and gates and install new 3-rail ornamental steel fencing. The new installation will consist of fencing panels only; no replacement gates are included in this scope. The Contractor must possess a valid State of California Contractors License, C-13 (Fencing Contractor) classification, and be in good standing for the duration of the project.

Any and all performance pursuant to this contract(s) shall be on an on-call or as-needed basis. Any tasking shall be initiated solely by the District. Further, execution of a contract by the District does not in any way guarantee that any tasking or request for on-call services will be issued to any party.
