Description

The work consists in general of constructing an approximate 6.7-mile Class II, Class III, and Class IV bikeway through the City of Imperial Beach and the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa-Nestor communities in the City of San Diego. Improvements include buffered bike lanes, sidewalk improvements, roadway improvements, earthwork, drainage improvements, storm water treatment devices, landscaping, fencing, traffic signal modifications, street lighting, signage, striping, and other traffic calming improvements. Work includes, but is not limited to, controlling for water pollution; traffic control; erosion control; clearing and grubbing; curb, gutter, cross gutter, driveway, stamped concrete, and sidewalk work; roadway excavation; imported borrow; asphalt concrete pavement; PCC pavement; landscaping; wayfinding signage; pavement markings and signage; street lighting; trenching and backfill for underground electric conduits; water appurtenances and fire hydrant relocations; storm drain installation; traffic signal modifications; and procurement of all materials and performing all other work necessary to complete the work in accordance with the project plans and specifications. The DBE goal on this project is 23%. For the SWPPP, this project is a Risk Level 2. Questions due 6/10/22
