The Project is generally described as, but not limited to: a. Construction of a new 5,581 SF permanent 1-storey school building containing four classrooms, a school office, two all-gender neutral multi-stall toilet rooms, a singleoccupancy staff toilet, a janitorial closet and an electrical utility room – involving concrete, structural steel framing, metal stud framing, wall and roof insulation, exterior aluminum and fiber cement panels, sealants, single ply roofing, corrugated metal panels, sheet metal flashing and trims, aluminum-framed storefront and operable windows, glazing, hollow metal door frames, wood doors, FRP clad doors, door hardware, cement plaster, gypsum board ceilings and walls, ceramic tiles, suspended ceiling panels, linoleum and epoxy flooring, painting, plastic-laminated cabinets and counters, marker boards, signs, fabric window shades, toilet room accessories, plumbing, toilet fixtures, toilet stall compartments, HVAC systems, electrical power and low-voltage systems for data, phone, fire alarm, security video surveillance, PA/clock, and LED lighting and controls. b. Building and site demolition with hazardous materials abatement, earthwork and trenching, excavation and soil mitigation, new electrical service, underground site utilities for electrical, water, sewage, and storm water with bio-retention pond system, hard and soft landscaping including irrigation, replacement of play structure safety rubber tiles, ADA site upgrades, fencing and gates, play yard resurfacing and game line striping. c. Installation of three relocatable, modular classroom buildings (interim housing) with attached toilets which includes prefabricated accessible metal ramps with transition landings, asphalt overlays and patch work, plumbing, electrical power, fire alarm, and data systems, trenching for underground utilities, fencing and gates.
