Description
Description: This project will make vehicular and pedestrian safety improvements to the Airport's East Underpass that connects Boarding Area A and G. The scope will include roadway slope modifications, concrete curb and sidewalk construction, concrete bridge spall repair, railing and AOA fence modifications, pavement marking removal and installation, ventilation ductwork modification, fire sprinkler and exhaust sensor modifications, vehicle warning system installation, curb ramp and crosswalk improvements, and lighting and emergency communications installation. Construction is anticipated to begin in September 2023 and will be completed prior to February 2024. The anticipated total duration of the contract is 210 consecutive calendar days. LBE goal is 20%.
