Description
Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) is soliciting bids for the construction of the Bay Bridge Forward I-580 WB HOV Lane Extension Project (Project). This Project proposes to convert approximately 2.3 miles of an existing GP lane on WB I-580 to a HOV lane. The proposed HOV lane will extend from the beginning of the existing HOV lane for the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge Toll Plaza approach at the WB I-580/Interstate 80 (I-80) connector touch-down area to just east of the Broadway-Richmond Boulevard Undercrossing (UC). The Project is in Alameda County, and its limits begin at Lake Park Avenue Overcrossing and end at 0.3 miles west of the Route I-80/580/880 Separation in Oakland. All dates are preliminary.
