Work consists of fabrication and installation of steel structural supports for fall protection systems, steel structural reinforcement of existing metal roof system, metal stud framing at existing gutter and existing metal roofing supports, drywall repair and finish at damaged soffit, new plywood at abandoned roof gutter infill, removal of existing metal roofing at roof gutter infill, installation of roofing underlayment at roof gutter infill, installation of metal roofing panel system and new metal roofing system infill panels at roof gutter infill.

This project will complete ADA improvements prior to micro surface treatment and other such items as required and included in Appendix D, the plans, specifications, and special provisions.

The project scope includes design services for demolition of the existing buildings at 320 and 330 Main Street, and design of a new parking lot. New parking lot design will include demolition of existing buildings and other structures located at 320 and 330 Main Street, minor earthwork and grading, asphalt-concrete pavement, concrete and ADA improvements, parking lot striping, payment kiosk, vegetated bioswale and drainage improvements, solar lighting, landscaping and irrigation system, and EV-ready parking spaces. The design will also include a geotechnical investigation and report to characterize subsurface conditions and to support the vegetated bioswale and drainage improvements basis of design. All improvements will be designed to comply with applicable City, County, and NPDES stormwater requirements. The parking lot design will be roughly based on the council-approved conceptual plan. Deliverables will consist of construction drawings, specifications, an engineers estimate, and bid documents, along with support during the bidding process.

The County of San Luis Obispo (County) is currently soliciting proposals for professional services for design of the Cayucos Pier Reconstruction Project. The purpose of the Cayucos Pier Reconstruction Project (Project) is to provide design services to restore the Pier back to its pre-2024 condition at Bents 60 and 61, prior to damage and removal of the end of the Pier. The scope of work assumes the Pier will be replaced in-kind between bent 60 and 61, except for the piles at bent 61 which will be replaced with steel pipe piles. The design will also implement the recommendations from the September 2024 Condition Assessment Report to 1) retrofit all the connections at the battered-pile to plumb-pile joints, 2) replace 59 battered pile head treatments, and 3) install a wrap like the existing retrofit on those piles identified in the Condition Assessment Report.
