Description
The County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional Construction Engineering services (Inspection) as outlined within this RFP. The County constructs transportation projects every year with local, state and, or, federal funding sources. To comply with state and federal regulations and due to limited staffing availability during periods of emergency response and high workload on projects with funding deadlines, the County requires Construction Engineering services by Contractors to perform Resident Engineer duties including but not limited to field inspections, preparation of estimates, and quantity calculations in the construction phase of our projects. Therefore, to assist the County in its transportation project delivery goals, the selected Contractors will perform as needed Construction Engineering services under project specific Task Orders. DBE goal is 13%
