Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to repair and replace Jet A fuel line. 3. Jet A Fuel Line repair services are necessary to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, support emergency response readiness, and protect public safety, personnel, and the environment. Properly functioning fuel systems are critical to sustaining CAL FIRE aviation operations, including wildfire suppression, rescue missions, and other emergency services.

The Consultant shall provide emergency on-call building inspection services on an as-needed basis for the Citys Community Development Department, Building Division, functioning as an extension of City staff under the direct authority of the Building Official. In this capacity, the Consultant will perform emergency field inspections to verify that construction or work for which a permit is required complies with the Cupertino Municipal Code, the California Building Standards Code, and all applicable state and local regulations. The Consultant shall ensure that all work remains accessible and exposed for inspection purposes until approved, conducting necessary evaluations including, but not limited to, footing and foundation, concrete slab, framing, lath and gypsum, energy efficiency, and final inspections as established by the adopted codes. Following each requested inspection, the Consultant shall either indicate the portion of the construction that is satisfactory as completed or formally notify the permit holder or their authorized agent of any code deficiencies. Any portions of the work that do not comply must be clearly documented for correction, ensuring that non-compliant work is not covered or concealed until ultimately authorized and approved

The City has received OBAG 3 funding for the San Antonio Complete Streets Project STPL-5309(020). The project consists of protected bikeways along North San Antonio Road connecting key commercial areas, residential areas, Civic spaces, schools, the Community Center, the Library, Downtown Los Altos, new high-density housing, Caltrain, and El Camino Real transit lines. This project seeks to create safer, more comfortable streets for all users by implementing complete streets best practices, including protected bikeways, better integration between transit and bicycles, enhanced crosswalks, preservation of existing sidewalks, and narrowed vehicle lanes. This corridor is a suggested route to school for two public schools in Los Altos. It is one of the few north-south corridors that traverses the entire city. This project also includes pavement rehabilitation to restore and maintain the existing roadway network, as well as streetscape improvements, such as streetlights. The plans will comply with the latest design standard at the time the contract is executed

In 2022, the City completed a comprehensive condition assessment of the Fire Training Tower to evaluate the impacts of long-term exposure to heat, fire, and water, as well as general wear from nearly 30 years of continuous use. The assessment identified deterioration and deficiencies including, but not limited to, corrosion and damage to interior stair systems, concrete cracking and spalling, degradation of fire-resistant materials in burn rooms, electrical system exposure issues, drainage deficiencies, and potential building code and seismic vulnerabilities. Based on the findings of the assessment, the City now intends to advance the project into the design and construction phase. This Request for Proposals seeks qualified consultant services to evaluate the current site, perform necessary hazard sampling and testing, and develop design documents based on, but not limited to, the recommendations of the prior condition assessment, including preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates suitable for bidding and construction. This project is funded through Measure I, a voter-approved general obligation bond measure approved by Santa Clara voters in November 2024. Measure I provides funding for the repair, replacement, and modernization of critical City infrastructure and public safety facilities, including fire stations. The project is subject to all applicable Measure I requirements, including use-of-funds restrictions and oversight provisions

The proposed scope of services shall include: Conduct boundary/topographic survey of the scoped area. The survey shall locate existing features, including, but not limited to, buildings, structures, wells, curbs, gutters, trees, utilities, fences, lighting, pavement, and other features. Review and analyze existing site conditions and relevant reports, including title and geotechnical reports. The Heritage tree must be preserved and protected. Conduct a well assessment to determine abandonment procedures and consult with Valley Water (or local water agency) to confirm. Design fencing along the sidewalk that adjoins Whisman Road. Evaluate the parking lot for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and include solutions in the deliverables where deficiencies are observed. Apply for and secure construction permits, including excavation permits and any underground service alerts for any on-site investigations. Building permit fees will be paid separately by the City. Include a geotechnical engineer for geotechnical analyses and provide recommendations for any subsurface design, including grading, drainage, and foundations
