Description
Description: SMART is seeking sealed bids from qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors to construct a station platform, reconstruct a railroad grade crossing, and construct 2 sections of non-motorized pathway. The project includes the following elements: a platform station, grade crossing reconstruction, special track work, signal & communications, a parking lot, 2 pedestrian bridges, grade crossing improvements, paving, striping, fencing, and signage. Contractor shall achieve substantial completion of the project within three hundred and sixty-five (365) calendar days from the date from when the Notice to Proceed is issued with final completion of the station by December 31, 2024. Contractor shall achieve full project completion on all other projects, including final invoicing of the project no later than March 31, 2025. Questions due by 08/25/2023, 3:00 pm must be submitted using the District's Procurement Portal.
Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
