The proposed project encompasses the redevelopment of an approximately 13-acre campus to support the school district’s transportation operations. The scope may include demolition of existing structures as required to accommodate new facilities. The site is anticipated to include a new 28,750 square foot transportation operations facility for bus fleet maintenance, along with a surface parking lot designed to accommodate approximately 224 school buses. In addition, a new administrative facility of approximately 22,500 square feet will provide offices, dispatch functions, meeting and training rooms, and related support spaces, together with parking facilities for staff and drivers. The scope may also include the remodeling of existing structures, as well as demolition where necessary, to support either transportation operations or administrative functions. Additional program elements include a fueling area of roughly 10,000 square feet with bus wash facilities, as well as the installation of charging stations to support an electric bus fleet.
