Description

Thornton is seeking Proposals from Service Providers to provide various Fiber Optic Cabling and Verification Services on an on-call, as-needed basis under an open-ended General Service Agreement. Thornton reserves the right to award to multiple Service Providers. Nothing herein guarantees any minimum amount of work to any Service Provider. Thornton requires one (1) or more firms to perform the following:
    Installation/maintenance/repair of any fiber optic or other communication cabling owned by Thornton located in buildings or out. Thornton plans to award this scope to multiple service providers for a five-year term.
      This scope includes the Thornton Water Project Fiber Optic line, a 70+mile pipeline and fiber connecting Thornton to is Pump Station north of Fort Collins. Service Providers will be needed to maintain and respond to issues throughout this corridor.
    Verification/documentation/testing of existing fiber optic network per the attached scope. Thornton plans to award this scope to one service provider. Installation of approximately 2.5 miles of 144 pair fiber optic cable and laterals to six buildings in existing conduit along Thornton Parkway. Thornton plans to award this scope to one service provider, and must be complete by December 31, 2026.
Service Providers can submit proposals for any of the scopes and must indicate which scopes they are proposing to provide in their cover letter.
