Description
This contract will provide annual on-call consulting services to analyze Denver International Airport (DEN) aircraft noise and its impact across various regulatory metrics. A primary objective of this scope is to support the DEN Noise Office in maintaining strict compliance with the Denver/Adams County Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA). This role requires specialized expertise in the Noise Exposure Performance Standards (NEPS)a unique noise compliance regime specific to DENto ensure all modeling and reporting meet the IGAs rigorous technical requirements. Success in this position demands a comprehensive understanding of DENs unique noise environment, which has been fundamentally shaped by decades of complex litigation and the stringent mandates of the IGA. Ultimately, the consultant must recognize that effective noise planning is a critical cornerstone for DENs operational stability, as maintaining these standards is the only way to safeguard the airports capacity for sustained growth and future expansion.
