The San Miguel County Parks & Open Space department has hired a landscape architect to develop conceptual plans, which include landscaping and other improvements to the Countys Galloping Goose Park in the Town of Telluride. Improvements will include landscaping, improved and/or additional flower beds and bench(es). The construction of Galloping Goose Park focuses on thoughtful site transformation rather than heavy intervention, emphasizing reuse, durability, and a strong sense of place. The scope integrates demolition, grading, hardscape, planting, and irrigation into a cohesive system that supports both daily use and long-term resilience.

The selected contractor shall provide full design, engineering, permitting support (if required), and construction services for the retaining wall. At minimum, the scope includes: Design of a mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining wall system Construction of a low-profile retaining wall supporting a roadway width of at least 20 feet Structural design calculations prepared and stamped by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Colorado a. Detailed engineering drawings including: b. Wall geometry and dimensions c. Anchoring and reinforcement systems d. Drainage components (if applicable) e. Full material specifications and quantities Construction planning and execution, including: a. Mobilization and demobilization of personnel, equipment, and materials b. Total Small Business Set-Aside, 238390 - Other Building Finishing Contractors. This is a log cabin built in the late 1940s. There are large gaps between the logs and holes from woodpeckers throughout the exterior of the cabin. This has allowed rodents and other bugs to infest the cabin's interior. The cabin needs maintenance, specifically chinking and filling in holes in the exterior logs to prevent further damage.

Directly replace the existing wall-hung Munchkin boiler with one Lochinvar Knight WHB085L-101 85,000 BTU propane condensing boiler. Install a natural gas to propane conversion kit, if required. Replace the Taco 007 cast iron circulator pump. Replace one automatic air vent, replace 2.5 gallon expansion tank, and provide all necessary piping and fittings to connect to the existing single zone system. Inject 30% glycol into the system. Remove the old boiler and all associated parts. Clean and test the system. Provide one year warranty on all labor and materials.
