Description
1. Establish Traffic Control along FAP 800 (US 45) and at Leverett Road and at Central Avenue/Flatville Road. 2. Close Clark Street at US 45. 3. Construct Bulbouts at US 45 and Leverett Road and at US 45 and Central Avenue/Flatville Road. 4. Construct Median Crossovers at US 45 and Leverett Road and at US 45 and Central Avenue/Flatville Road. 5. HMA Surface Removal Variable Depth on Existing US 45. 6. HMA Resurfacing on US 45 and at Leverett Road and at Central Avenue/Flatville Road. 7. Seeding and Mulch. 8. Install Raised Reflective Pavement Markings and Curb Reflectors. 9. Replace Pavement Markings. 10. All Other Items Necessary to Complete the Project. 11. Clean Up. Location: The intent of the project is to reconstruct the Leverett Road and Flatville Road intersections with US 45 north of Champaign, Illinois and convert the existing intersections to Restricted Crossing U-Turns (RCUTs).
