Description
General Requirements 4.1.1. The Village is seeking a modern, on-premise hyperconverged infrastructure system for virtualized compute purposes. 4.1.2. The system shall include CPU, memory, and storage on purpose-built servers. The system may optionally include network switches. 4.1.3. For the purposes of survivability, availability, and resource distribution, there shall be a minimum of 3 nodes. The system shall be scalable to additional nodes without significant system redesign. 4.1.4. The system shall provide a unified management interface for installation, configuration, and management of virtual machines as well as the management of the nodes themselves. 4.1.5. High-availability of the virtual machines if one or more of the nodes are unavailable (offline or due to maintenance). 4.1.6. The system shall be maintained via regular service and security updates and patches, provided by the vendor, included at no additional charge, while the service maintenance is current. 4.1.7. The system shall be capable of data backup for the virtual machines as well as the node configurations.
