Description
The Contractor shall provide weekly watering of trees at designated locations throughout the Village. Trees are mulched and equipped with either a watering bag or Tree Diaper. Each tree shall be watered once per week unless otherwise directed. Watering shall include: Filling tree watering bags completely And slowly soaking the mulched area to ensure adequate root zone saturation and prevent runoff If a watering bag is damaged or missing, the Contractor shall notify the Village Forester. The Village will supply watering bags for the Contractor to install. Seasonal watering services are generally expected to occur from May to September, but actual service period may be adjusted based on weather. Each tree shall be watered once per week, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise approved. The Village Forester may cancel a scheduled watering if rainfall exceeds one inch in a seven-day period, or request additional watering during extended heat or drought conditions, or needs of the trees. Contractor shall not invoice for services cancelled due to excessive rain.
