The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority is seeking a vendor to provide Overhead Crane Inspections and Repairs for 2 year for 7.5-ton Bridge Crane Two year initial Overhead Crane Inspections and Repair.

This project includes the construction of ribbon curb installation, earth excavation, pavement removal, aggregate base course, Class D Patching as necessary, and parkway restoration in accordance with the Plans, Standard Specifications, and these Special Provisions.

The work in general shall consist of water main replacement, water main capping and abandoning, new ductile iron water main construction, new fire hydrant and valve vault construction, storm sewer removal and replacement, pavement rehabilitation, and landscape restoration, all as further described in the contract documents for the said work prepared by Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. (CBBEL).

The scope of work consists of directional boring to various (22) street light poles along Lincoln Street, Chicago Avenue, and Garfield Street; installing HDPE conduit, polyduct tails into existing street lights, composite handholes, and USE conductors.

The scope of services includes hydro excavating the parkway at the selected B-Box locations to the top of all residential domestic water services lines to determine the type of pipe material. Material type shall be classified as copper, lead, galvanized iron or steel. This work shall include identifying the type of material at both the public and private side. Each water service located shall be photographed and documented. All excavations will be a minimum of 18 inches on either side of the center of the B-Box to ensure proper material identification on both the public and private side are achieved. The City estimates the contractor will perform approximately 250 hydro excavations located in the parkway adjacent to various residential addresses.

DuPage County County is seeking bidders to provide submersible pumps and accessories for its JOF Stormwater Station and Sanitary Station. Pumps shall be manufactured by Flygt Pump, KBS Pump, Grundfos Pump, or equal. Pricing shall include a minimum of one (1) day of start-up services for Stormwater Equipment and a minimum of one (1) day of start-up services for Wastewater Equipment.
