HMA patching on US 24 and Resurfacing (1,000 ft) rest area roadway in Fulton County, Springfield, IL
This project consists of correction of the superelevation on the US Route 24 curve east of N. Speedway Road and paving improvements to the Rest Area west of Little America Lane. Work on US Route 24 consists of variable depth milling, a variable depth hot-mix asphalt overlay, shoulder improvements, guardrail work, and all related collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown in the contract plans as described herein. Work on the rest area consists of variable depth milling, pavement widening, a hot-mix asphalt overlay, shoulder improvements, and all related collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown in the contract plans as described herein. Location: This project is located on US Route 24 (FAP 317) in Fulton County, Illinois. The job begins approximately 1.1 miles southwest of the intersection of US Route 24 (FAP 317A) and Old Weaver Highway to the Rest Area west of Little America Lane.
