Reconstruction on IL 81 from 0.2 miles West of Union St to 0.3 miles West of IL 78 in Kewanee - Henry County, Springfield, IL
This project involves the complete removal and replacement of IL 81, including pavement reconstruction, multi-use path, sidewalk, curb and gutter, storm sewer, utility adjustments, driveways, embankment, guardrail, tree removal and striping. It also includes the installation of temporary traffic signals, pavement reconstruction and widening at IL 78 and County Highway 28 (Sale Barn Rd), for a proposed detour route. Location: The project is located along IL 81 (W. 6TH Street) and begins approximately 0.1 miles west of Union Street and ends 0.3 miles west of IL 78.
