Description
This project consists of adding lanes and a reconstruction, and the work to be completed under this contract consists of pavement removal, earth excavation and placement of embankment, precast box culvert installation, bridge replacement, storm sewer installation, construction of new PCC pavement with combination concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk and shared use path construction, traffic signals and interconnection installations, highway lighting replacement, water main and sanitary sewer relocation, placement of pavement marking, landscaping, erosion and sediment control, and any incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and described herein. Location: This project begins on the centerline of IL 31 north of Bull Valley Road and extends in a northerly direction to IL 120 in the City of McHenry within McHenry County. This project has a gross and net length of 8,360 feet (1.58 miles).
