The project consists of: removing existing inlets and stormdrain pipes, installing new inlets and stormdrain pipes, constructing new trapezoidal waterways with optional berms and driveway tie-ins, and removing trees as part of Clearing and Grubbing. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Carroll County Department of Public Works prior to bid opening. The bidder must be approved for the type of work applicable to the project. The pre-qualification application forms shall be submitted to the Division of Engineering a minimum of fifteen (15) days in advance of the bid opening.

The Carroll County Department of Planning and Land Management (County) is seeking a qualified engineering consulting firm (Consultant) to provide engineering design and permitting services for the rehabilitation of Piney Run Dam, Maryland Dam No. 139 (National Inventory of Dams MD00139) located in Piney Run Park in Sykesville, Maryland. Work will include engineering design of the rehabilitation measures for the dam and its appurtenant features, erosion and sediment control, maintenance of stream flow, stormwater management, environmental permitting, and all associated analysis and plans/specifications/estimate production. One Consultant will be selected to perform the services described in this Request for Proposal.

The County Commissioners of Carroll County (hereinafter referred to as Owner) are soliciting a Construction Manager at Risk also commonly referred to as Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) to perform typical pre-construction services and construction management as constructor services for the Carroll County Public Safety Training Center Phase II located in Westminster, Maryland. This solicitation is being issued through the public bid process administered by the Countys Office of Procurement. Please refer to Attachment No. 1, Request for Qualifications General Instructions for Construction for submittal procedures, policies, insurance requirements and bonding provisions.

The Carroll County Office of Procurement, in cooperation with the Division of Utilities, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide the labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to construct the Liberty Water Tank Booster Station, located at 1331 Johnsville Road, Eldersburg MD 21784. The scope of work includes the following: A. Construction of a new Water Booster Station and associated site work, located primarily within the base of the existing Liberty Water Storage Tank. B. Installation of approximately 2,400 linear feet (LF) of new 12-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) line along Johnsville Road from the Liberty Water Tank Booster Station to the existing water main at the intersection with Bartholow Road.

It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to establish a contract to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to perform the faade remediation at Francis Scott Key High School, 3825 Bark Hill Road, Union Bridge, MD 21791. The successful bidder (s) shall be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, equipment, tools, supervision, insurance and services required to perform the faade remediation at FSK all in accordance with the provisions of this Invitation to Bid including the enclosed specifications.

This project, located in Howard and Carroll County, is for the re-grading and stabilization of SWM grass swales in various locations along I-70, US-29, and MD-216. Refer to the table below for mile point location of each swale. The goal of the project is to upgrade existing median swales that are currently not providing TMDL credits. Other project improvements include upgrading existing traffic barrier within the project limits to meet current standards, as needed.
