Description
The Work includes labor, material and equipment, services required for construction, testing, and commissioning of the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents and as more specifically described in the Specifications and Drawings and includes, but is not limited to, the following principal features. Installation of six 18-inch by 12-inch gravel packed wells; pit less adapters; submersible turbine pumps; well development; performance pumping tests; water quality testing and associated process piping and valves. Unloading, installation, start-up and testing of Owner-furnished granular activated carbon (GAC) vessels; Install process piping and GAC media in the vessels necessary for the PFAS treatment system to be operational; Electrical distribution equipment, Feed breaker, new power panels; Furnish and install bag filters, associated piping valves and fittings in the new building; SCADA Work including upgrades to the existing main control panel new PFAS control panel and installation of fiber optic cable; Concrete slab to support the pre-engineered metal building; New pre-engineered metal building; Installation of a bathroom inside the new pre-engineered metal building; Installation of new septic system for the bathroom facility inside the new pre-engineered metal building; Site piping; Furnish and install new sodium bisulfite chemical feed and associated metering pumps, piping, valves and fittings in the existing treatment building; Replacement of existing chemical metering pumps for sodium hypochlorite, potassium permanganate, potassium hydroxide and sodium fluoride in the existing treatment building; Furnish and install a new blower for the greensand filters in the existing treatment building. New water heater in the existing treatment building; Demolition of dehumidification equipment and associated duct Work in the existing treatment building; Re-routing of analyzer waste, floor drains to the infiltration basin; Demolition of existing dry well and existing leaching structures; and all materials, equipment, services, and construction inherent to the Work. Sub-bids will be received until February 16, 2022 at 10:00am. Sub trades include Painting, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. The Work shall be substantially complete within 360 calendar days from the date of contract commencement and completed and ready for final payment within 420 calendar days from the date of contract commencement. Work associated with Well Installation shall be substantially complete by December 31, 2022. General Bidders must submit the DCAMM Prime/General Certificate of Contractor Eligibility and the DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. The General Bidder must be DCAMM certified for sewage and water treatment plants. Sub-Bidders must submit the DCAMM Filed Sub-Bid Certificate of Contractor Eligibility and the DCAMM Sub-Bidder Update Statement. Deadline for general bid questions is February 18, 2022 by 03:00pm. Sub-Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. local time on February 15, 2022
