Description
This request for proposals (RFP) seeks bids for the installation of solar panels on the roof top of an existing commercial structure at Riverbay. Although this bid only seeks proposals for one structure, the existing power plant roof, Riverbay intends to issue future RFPs for additional structures, including potentially, solar roof canopies for eight (8) commercial garages on site, as well as battery storage. If both phases are completed, the resulting project would be one of, if not the largest, urban solar facility in the Country. Phase One of the project includes the turnkey design, permitting, procurement, installation, interconnection, commissioning, and closeout of a rooftop solar PV system. The Contractor shall be responsible for confirming roof structural capacity, completing all solar and electrical design, obtaining required permits and utility approvals, furnishing and installing the PV system and associated electrical equipment, providing required general construction support, and delivering a fully operational, inspected, and approved system ready for owner use
