Broad and Allen Firehouse Roof Replacement

This Project consists of the improvements to East Avenue Streetscape Improvements, betweenSouth Union Street and Alexander Street. The scope of the work consists of removal of the existing flexipave areas along East Avenue within theproject limits. On the south side of East Ave, the sidewalk will be removed one full flag width back fromthe curb and the existing urban fill soil will be excavated to depths shown on the project drawings. Onthe north side, the existing flexipave areas will be removed and existing urban soil excavated to depthsshown on the project drawings. Tree pits will be established by filling the excavated areas with selectstructural fill and special planting mix topsoil, with underdrain piping to drain the pits. Ground coverplantings and mulch will be provided at the surface in the planter beds, and remaining areas will bepaved with concrete sidewalk. Tree pit guards will be installed to protect trees and planter beds

The scope of the work consists of cleaning and lining approximately 4.7 miles of City water mains. This work is to be performed on various streets within the City, as shown on the Contract drawings. The water main rehabilitation method consists of mechanically cleaning the interior of the existing water mains to remove rust deposits and other foreign matter and then applying a corrosion-resistant cement mortar lining to restore hydraulic capacity, improve available fire flows, water quality and extend the useful life of the water mains. The contract requires the supply and maintenance of temporary bypass pipe and water service connections to all customers affected by the cleaning and lining process. The temporary bypass piping system will be used to maintain fire protection and provide a continuous supply of water to our customers during construction. Some existing water main valves and fire hydrants will be replaced in this contract

Residential Furnace Repair or Replacement Program 2026

The New York State Office of Mental Health and the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York wish to provide replacement generators for Building 60. The current project scope and information items are as follows: Replace (2) 1.25MW diesel generators with (2) 800kW diesel generators. The building will remain occupied during construction. One (1) generator will be replaced at a time and will need to be fully installed, functional, and tested before the next generator replacement
