The City of Lancaster is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the provision of landfill services to ensure the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible disposal of municipal solid waste generated within City and County and outside the County. The selected contractor will be responsible for receiving, managing, and disposing of waste in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, while maintaining high standards of operational reliability and environmental stewardship. Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City seeks to establish a long-term partnership with a provider that can offer long-term disposal capacity, competitive pricing, regulatory compliance, and reliable service to meet the community's current and future solid waste disposal needs.
