Centrifuge Dewater Facility Construction, Spring Hill, TN
The Project consists of the construction of a new two-story centrifuge dewatering facility and associated site and plant improvements at the Spring Hill Wastewater Treatment Plant. The new building will provide enhanced solids handling and operational efficiency at the facility. The lower level of the new building will include dual truck bays for solids loadout, a dedicated chemical feed area, and an electrical room. The upper level will house multiple dewatering centrifuges, loadout conveyors, and an operations room for monitoring and control. In addition to the new building, the Project includes the installation of new pumps within the plants aerobic digesters, construction of a new solids day tank, and new centrifuge feed pumps located in the existing dewatering building. Modifications to the centrate return pump station will also be constructed to support the upgraded dewatering process. Site work will include grading, drainage improvements, and construction of a stormwater retaining pond. A new standby generator will be provided for reliable backup power. The Project also includes all required yard piping, site utilities, electrical power distribution, and SCADA tie-ins to integrate the new facilities with the existing plant systems.
