The Texas State Railroad is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms for professional design services related to the construction of a new pre-engineered metal building at the Texas State Railroad Palestine Depot. Project Description The proposed project consists of the design of an approximately 80? wide x 120? long x 20? tall pre-engineered metal building.

Furnishing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all work required for removal and replacement of the Bassett Road Culvert at Bassett Creek including all necessary appurtenances. Major items of work include but are not necessarily limited to approximately 832 square yards of 6-inch reinforced concrete pavement and 347 square yards of 6-inch non-reinforced concrete pavement with 1,318 square yards of cement treated base subgrade, 1,299 cubic yards of unclassified roadway excavation, 636 cubic yards of unclassified channel excavation, 112 linear feet (total) of triple (3) 300 skew 8s x 6r reinforced concrete box culverts (each 37.3 feet long), 728 square yards of grouted 12-inch to 18-inch thick grouted rock riprap, two (2) Type PW TxDOT headwalls, 176 linear feet of Type C-224 traffic rail, a High Water Alert System, and all related appurtenances.
