Description

It is the intent of the City of Brownsville, Texas, to solicit sealed competitive bids for the Traffic Monitoring and Management of Signalized Roads Project, funded through the RGVMPO Category 7 Surface Transportation Block Grant Metropolitan Mobility (STBG-MM) Program. The City of Brownsville has been allocated STBG-MM funds and is issuing a Solicitation for Sealed Bids to solicit responses for a construction contract associated with traffic monitoring, detection, and management infrastructure at signalized intersections. The project aims to enhance real-time traffic operations, system performance monitoring, and data-driven traffic management. STBG-MM funds are provided as contract authority, and reimbursements are made through the Highway Trust Fund.
