It is the intent of the City of Brownsville, Texas, to solicit sealed competitive bids for the 12th Street Traffic Signal Improvement Project, funded through the RGVMPO Category 7 (STBG-MM) Program. The City of Brownsville has been awarded Surface Transportation Block Grant Metropolitan Mobility funds and is issuing a Solicitation for Sealed Bids for a construction contract associated with traffic signal improvements along the 12th Street corridor. The project aims to modernize traffic signal equipment, enhance corridor operations, and improve safety for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists. STBG-MM funds are provided as contract authority and are reimbursed through the Highway Trust Fund.
