Description

This project will include but not limited to the removal of: two existing emergency generators, enclosures and belly mounted diesel fuel tanks, associated power conductors, Generator Controls, Control Cabinets, and Generator Control wiring. The project will also consist of the installation of three Emergency Generators with sound enclosures, skid mounted diesel fuel tanks, new 4.16 kV Power Conductors, new 120/208 volt Panel LB and step down transformer TLB. The engine-generators, enclosures, belly mounted fuel tanks, and 12,000 gallon Diesel Fuel AST will be provided by the City of Plano, while the Contractor will also be responsible for the site preparation, installation, rigging, and commissioning of the entire emergency backstand system. Additional components as shown on the Fuel System Drawings (Fuel Polisher, Generator Return Pump/Sumps, Duplex Pumps, Fuel piping, Fuel pipe fittings, control wiring, conduits, terminations, valves, etc.) are to be provided and installed by the Contractor. The Contractor shall also be responsible for the installation of all pertinent power, and control wiring from each controller in the fuel system to the respective sensor, valve, or other device.
