Description

The work under this contract includes furnishing all labor, tools, material, and equipment, and for performing all work necessary for construction of landscaping and drainage improvements. All of the above shall be done in accordance with TxDOT Standard Specifications, 2024 Edition and as per instructions of the OWNER. All construction sequencing and barricading will be done according to TxDOTs Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The City of Balch Springs would like to invite to bid project CSJ 0095-13-050 of the Green Ribbon Program Project. The project scope consists of landscape improvements on TxDOT rightof-ways at two locations - IH20 at Seagoville Road and Beltline Road in the City of Balch Springs. The project includes a two-tiered interchange at IH20 and Seagoville Road within the TxDOT right-of-way and a two-tiered interchange at IH20 and Beltline Road. The work consists of protecting existing trees and installation of new landscape material which consists of trees, shrubs, and seeding. The project also includes installation of permanent landscape irrigation, irrigation controllers and meters. Installation of new irrigation equipment will require boring under existing highway. In addition to the above, there will be other miscellaneous construction items as defined in the plans and specifications.
