Description
237130 - Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction. The Garland VA Medical Center, located at 2300 Marie Curie Boulevard, Garland, TX 75042, requires the construction of a new, fully operational energy center to replace its outdated, noncompliant, and insufficient existing boiler and utility systems. The new energy center will support all existing hospital buildings as well as the VA-owned outpatient building at 900 Shiloh. The new energy center will be a single-story, stand-alone high-rise structure housing major mechanical, electrical, steam, chilled water, fuel oil, bulk oxygen, and standby power generation components. A new walkable underground utility tunnel will connect the energy center to the main hospital.
