Description

Mobilization: Mobilization of all personnel, equipment, and materials necessary to begin and complete the project. Traffic Control: Furnishing, installation, and maintenance of barricades, signage, and traffic control measures necessary to safely manage vehicular and pedestrian traffic throughout the duration of construction. Stormwater Management: Installation of curb inlet gravel filters as specified to improve drainage performance. Pavement Milling: Milling of approximately 2.5 inches of existing asphalt pavement along Sugarcane Drive to prepare the surface for rehabilitation. Base Repair: Repair and stabilization of existing roadway base using flexible base material to a depth of approximately 2.5 inches or as directed in the field. Prime Coat Application: Application of prime coat (MC-30) at specified rates to ensure proper bonding between base and asphalt surface. Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete (HMAC) Placement: Placement of approximately 2.5-inch thick HMAC Type D overlay to restore roadway surface and structural integrity. Concrete Work: Construction of concrete aprons and installation of concrete collars around existing manholes to ensure proper grade adjustment and structural support. Appurtenant Work: Includes all incidental work necessary to complete the project, such as surface preparation, cleanup, protection of existing utilities, and restoration of disturbed areas. Coordination, Safety and General: Contractor shall coordinate with the City to minimize disruptions. Contractor is responsible for site safety, quality control, and proper execution of all work. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete roadway improvements for the Sugarcane Drive project in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents.
