The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, testing, supervision, and project management necessary to demolish, replace, and commission the boiler plant at the West Texas VAMC, Building 2 in Big Spring, Texas.

The City of Big Spring is seeking an experienced airport engineering firm with proven qualifications to provide professional airport engineering services for a full range of aviation needs at McMahon-Wrinkle Airport and intends to engage a professional engineering firm for services subject to 49 U.S.C. 47107(a)(17), and pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Chapter 262 and, Chapter 2254, Subchapter A, of the Government Code, and 2 CFR 200 in its entirety.

The project consists of reconstructing the full length of runway 6/24 (4601 x 75 ft.). The runway pavement is HMAC on a gravel base course, both of varying depth. The project will employ full depth reclamation (FDR) for the majority of the runway length, with mill and fill techniques applied at pavement intersections. These include Taxiways E, B and A. Runway 18/36, which crosses R/W 6/24 near its midpoint, is concrete pavement. Therefore, the FDR for the crosswind runway will meet the edge of pavement elevations of R/W 18/36. After the pavement work is complete, pavement markings will be applied.

The City of Big Spring (City) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors to furnish portable litter fence systems designed to control windblown debris at landfill and/or public works operations. The City seeks a durable, modular system that provides an effective perimeter for litter containment, reduces manual cleanup labor, and performs reliably in high-wind West Texas conditions.
